Sustainability Policy.

January 2021

This represents the Sustainability Policy (the “Policy”) for Abri Advisors Ltd., Abri Advisors (UK) Ltd. and Abri Advisors Inc. (together “Abri”).  The main goal of Abri’s Policy is to ensure responsible personal and corporate behaviour relating to climate change and social inequities, and to the greatest extent possible, reduce the negative human impact on the planet resulting from irresponsible consumption.  Abri has adopted a holistic and dedicated approach to environmental sustainability & social responsibility, both at a personal and corporate level, as well as ensuring that our target investment companies also adopt and adhere to international standards.

Abri Sustainability Policy focuses on 4 main areas:

i) Reduce.

ii) Reuse.

iii) Recycle.

iv) Social Responsibility.

  • Reduce: We endeavour to reduce our consumption and utilisation footprint as it relates to the following items:

Energy - heating, cooling, electricity, transportation, fossil fuels.

Food Items - palm oil, meats, dairy, sugar, heavy pesticide crops.

Plastics - single-use plastic, heavily packaged items, products containing micro-plastics.

Waste - use/take only what is needed, use what is taken.

  • Reuse: We reuse and repurpose as many products as possible. With proper maintenance and care, the useful life of products can be meaningfully extended thereby eliminating the need to purchase new and thereby meaningfully reducing consumption.

  • Recycle: We recycle as many items and as much waste as possible. In general, we focus on the following items:

    • Plastic, glass, aluminium, paper.

    • Compost all food waste.

    • Contribute old and unwanted items to organisations for repurpose.

    • Electronic components, batteries, metals to recycling centers.

  • Social Responsibility: We believe in a fair, open and transparent hiring process that is skill-based and a pay and promotion process that is merit-based, mutatis mutandis. Further, we seek to offer internships to under-privileged or troubled young people from deprived communities and households. Abri will donate at least 2% of yearly profit to charity, primarily those focused on eco-conservation and developing-country children’s education
